Hum FM is a private FM radio station, broadcasting simultaneously from Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. Its major programming include a mix of Pakistani and Indian music as well as live cricket commentary.[1] Hum FM is owned by Shamal Media Services and started its regular transmission in 2005.[2]

In the past, Hum FM has broadcast the 2007 Cricket World Cup, Pakistan's tours of the West Indies, India and Sri Lanka in 2006, ICC Champions Trophy and many other major cricketing events live and exclusive for Pakistani and UAE listeners.[3] It has also secured the rights for the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 and the 2011 Cricket World Cup.
